Dr. Jenny Rogojanski, C.Psych., PMH-C, obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in 2013. As a part of her training, she practiced at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), St. Michael's Hospital, and Humber River Hospital. Dr. Jenny also completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. During her residency, she completed clinical rotations in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, the psychiatric emergency room, addiction psychiatry, behavioural sleep medicine, and adolescent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). After her doctorate, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre specializing in obsessive compulsive and related disorders (OCD, Trichotillomania or Hair Pulling Disorder, Excoriation or Skin Picking Disorder, Hoarding Disorder). Dr. Jenny is also a certified pediatric sleep consultant through the Family Sleep Institute, and co-founder of Sleep Smart Psychology Group, a practice specializing in sleep across the lifespan (see link). Dr. Jenny is also certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International (PSI).

Prior to starting her own practice, Dr. Jenny worked as a staff psychologist within the Mental Health and Addictions Program at St. Michael’s Hospital. In her current work, Dr. Jenny provides assessment and treatment services to adults with difficulties related to their mood, anxiety, OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviours, insomnia, and emotion regulation. She has a particular interest in supporting new and expecting parents coping with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, as well as working with families to improve their children's sleep. Dr. Jenny's approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on creating a safe environment for therapeutic change and combining client strengths with evidence-based treatment principles.

 

Dr. Jenny is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and is a member of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT), the Canadian and Ontario Psychological Associations (CPA and OPA), Postpartum Support International, the Family Sleep Institute, International OCD Foundation, and the Trichotillomania Learning Centre (TLC).
